Show Priesthood Meeting Alpine Stake. There was a fair attendance at Priesthood meeting at Soicnet Hall, Am. Fork, Satti nitty, Sept. 1st, Pies. Ohipman presiding. A number of young men were, recommoiiiled to bo ordained Elders. Leonard S. Harrington of Shelley, Ida., matte a short report of the conditions there in tho Blaekfoot stake. Freeman Iloylo of the 1st ward, Lehi, made n short report of his labors in the Southern States while laboring as missionary in that part of the country. Pies. G. II. Brlmhall of the P, Y. U., Provo, spoku of the nower of singing ami tho. necessity of training our voices, especially thoso young men who expect to go into tho world on missions. Spoko of the gtcat intelligence we enjoy to day, our ability to do and accomplish things. The advantages ad-vantages we havo ovor our parents. Tho Kills for 'stenographers, bookkeepers, book-keepers, surveyors and teachers were ten times greater than they could supply. Spoko of the law of obedience, because of respect, because be-cause of love, because of con tldcnce. Spoke of obedience to authority. First tho grumbler, then the pessimists pessi-mists and growlers to be followed by tho kickers.
