Dear Sir: I llko the country very much so far; havo seon a great number of farmers from tho states and every ono scon so tar says they have dono well and llko It here far better than where they camo from, and all claim It to be tho best country for a poor man that they wero over in, and with good crops this season I predict a great rush. There are some nlco claims to bo had yet, but will not last the summer through. I do not find It any colder thnn In Iowa and am feeling much better than when I left thcro March 1st. I think this a great country for thoso who nro suf-i suf-i ferlng with throat and lung troubles. I I havo seen men that had an high as Sl'i bushels wheat per acre and near 100 bushels oats, but they weigh from I 45 to CI pounds per bushel, but the ' general run Is 25 to CO wheat, CO to 75 oats, and stock looking fine; some I cattlo running out wero nenrly In mar- ket flesh.
