It is said that Quartermaster Wrigley of the Itoumanla and th quartermaster in charge of the Manitoba have been recommended to be discharged from the servioe. The sale of liquors at one time must have come olose to a scandal. Nearly everyone of tho transport was running a bar and selling considerable liquor. The charge was mado that exorbitant prices were charged on some of- the transports, and that big profits went to the stewards or somebody. |
