Show H No Man Knowctli. H Congressman King is not go- H ing to be lead off by by follow- H ing a shadow. He realizes that H the election of a senator by the H next Legislature is one of those H uncertain things as to who the B person may be, or to what party B he will belong. Politiecs in Uttm B r i are in such a shape that no- 6ne B can tell what the result will be, B as to who will get to be elected B senutor. If some strong mqn H shall be brought from the right H quarter backed by the best citiz- H ens of the stiite who has, and al- H . ways has had. the best interest of B this people and slate at heart, it K will be hard to defeat such a one, B no mater what his polities may he. B No party is going to have, a walk: B over, this fall me way things B stand. Surely no politician is o B blind that he cannot see the way B things have been going in city B council of Salt Lake, but what B can bee that such actions are go- B ' ing to have their effect upon the H democratic party in the com- H paign this fall, and the republican H party is split in twain, and which H road, or where they will land, no H man knoweth. We will not H be surprised if a' Moses springs in H to existance who will be able to H lead the mixed multitude out of H the labyrinth. |
