Show HB Last week the management HM of the opera house had an article HB in our issue in regard to some Hi practices that aic carried on in HM some of the rooms of the house Hi by certain parties whom the HJ management claims to know. Hi This is a very delicate thing to Hi speak and write about and the HJ management were very careful in B its wording so as not to give HJ offense to any, and especially not B tD give insult to those who are HJ not guilty of such conduct. HJ This was proper and right and Hi the management thought this J would be all sufficient and the H dirty'practicc for suth we mitst B c ill it would stop. But it ap- HJ pears such is not the case, for the H oilier night after the dance we HJ were called into the room to see HE. for ourselves, and to say the least HJ we were ashamed of the sight, HJ and vielrthe statement was made HJ that the room is the ladies' we turncjpaway in disgust, arid feel HJ that tlie'guilty parties should bt HJ exposed and forever forbidden to HJ enter the house again, and in HJ behalf of the management, iadiei, Ht and gentlemen, do your best to help put down uch practice anc H J'ou will receive the plaudits of al H dcccnt'peVpleT, |
