Show DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION. A Member to the Territorial Legislature Legisla-ture Nominated. On Wednesday July 15, tho delegates of the Kcveiith Kcpresentatlvo District met nt Lehl to nominate a member to the Legislature. Mr. J. II. (laddie called tho convention to order. L. 1', Lund was elected temporary chairman and J. It. Allen, Becty. Tho secretary read the call for convention. A.J. Ev nns, Lehl; Lewis Hohinson, 1'lcas.int Orovo; John McNIel, American Fork j W. H. Kinds, Draper and John Holt, South Jordou were nppoiutudnsn committee com-mittee on credentials by the chair; and J. II. Caddie, I). O. Hideout, Jr; C. II. Harncr. J. J. Mercer, mid films. Miller were elected a commitlco 011 organization organiza-tion and order ot proccedtiru. Adjourned for half an hour. Committees on credentials cre-dentials and organization gave reports which were accepted. Tho follow iug officers wero then elected: elect-ed: D.O. Hideout, Jr., Chairman, J. S. Lapish, llrat Vlco-I'resident, Stephen Moylo, second Vicc-Frcsident, W. K. Clark, Hecty. Hyrum Timothy, Bnrgeut-nt-arms. Tho nomination for dclegato was then proceeded with. Orln 1'. Miller of Ilivcrloii, fico. Cunningham, Cun-ningham, ol American Fork, were placed in nomination. Tho result wns Mlllor 11, Cunningham ,32. Tho voto was made unanimous in favor of Cunningham.
