One of the notes was Issued by tho city of Albany, N. Y March 20, 1791, and tho legend "Threo Ponco" Is printed across its face In o.ld stylo type. Another noto of similar value was issued by the city ot Philadelphia In 1797, while a quaint bill on age yellowed yel-lowed papar Was laaxied by "the stnto of Massachusetts IUy" in 1785, and calls for "ono Spanish milled dollar."
