Show B Emigrated Lehi H People. B In the last issue of The BANNER B a clipping from the Raymond B Chronicle was published giving an B account of a reunion of Lehi B people recently held at Magrath, B Canada. It was shown by actual B count that 280 of the 340 people B present had been residents of B Lehi. These figures do not in- B c'ude all that have gone to Canada B (rom Lelli and J'ct lIlis numbcr is B- significant in calling attention to H the migration which has taken B place from our city within the pat H four years. If all those former B resident" of Lehi who now live in B: Mgar City, Idaho Falls, Garland B and other places weie added to H the number in Canada, the second H half of a thousand would no doub1 B be reached. B THE BANNER extends to all H these peop'c a hearty greeting B' with wishes for increased pros- Hi penty. Their welfare will ever B be amaller of concern to Lehi 1 people and, we believe, Lebi's in- B terest will be to them a sort of H'r Itis'jndeed gratifying that in H BpiWfof .tlieihcavy migration that has taken place, our population has notvgi'own less and improvements improve-ments have gone steadily forward. At present thoie who come to our city to reside permanently outnumber out-number those who leave to find homes elsewhere. Confidence in the future of Lehi w.is never stronger than now. |
