Show Wm. Ball's Narrow Escape. There was a mishap In the shaft oi the Lower Mammoth mine at Tiutic on Saturday night that gives a number of men a crooping fueling every time they think of it. Scxcral man who had been down in tho mine, among them W. S. McCornick oi Salt Luke, wero coming up at a very rapid rate, when 0. K. Coflln, who was of the number, fainted and fell against William Ball, superintendent of the mlno, knocking him partly out of the cage.
