The Mayor itated tlio object of the mealing was to consider the quistion of ' tlio saaallpex existing In our midst. Dr. Steele was called upon for a stale- ment of the conditions of affairf In Lehl yL S at the present time and reported thnt "j aft there were less cases under quarantine if Jm than at any time during the past six 1 jE weeks and also reported that in one or 1 ' B two instances certain parties had jB violated the quarantine retaliations and 4, $( tkat prosecutions would ensue as soon as it was advisable to take inch steps , after the quarantine had been raised from these particular caste.
