Show Conference, Tho ward Conference held hero on Sunday was lather poorly attended. Theio were present, President Part-irdge Part-irdge and uouucolor David John. After tho authorities were presented. Bishop Cutler gave a ery interesting and pleasing account of tho condition of Lehi ward. Ho spoko very highly of tho people ot tho war J. Relating many of their uood works both spiritual and tempornl. In his remarks he hinted that it was more than likely that a New Branch would be oignnizcd in tho upper pnrt ot tow n, also that it had been mentioned thai I.chi ward was the largest ward in the State, nnd It might be wise to divide it up in the near future. fut-ure. Stated that the ward numbers about S.tiOO persons belonging to the Mormon Church He was followed w ith remarks from councilor David John, who gave some geuornl instructions lie related some little incidents which were amusing. Fresidont Partridge followed with somo remarks in relation to dividing up wards nnd stakts. Showed that citcumstnnces should be takon under consideration in regard to such ma'teif. . |
