Is a small part of 0 the area of new york which Is square miles of fa farms rm s orchards mountains valleys streams lakes forests and oth or er rural beautiful and natural things times square greenwich village fifth avenue and wall street 1 are arc rivaled by niagara falls the adirondacks the catskills lake placid and mount marcy the subways subway are no match tor for ski runs and a nd toboggan slides its a long step from the bowery to country lanes and old farmsteads champlain came first now york has so many firs firsts is they cant be counted samuel de champlain was tho the first
