| Show STATE SCHOOL WORK progresses work on the first unit of the utah training school tor for the feeble minded is progressing at such a pace that by july 1st ast the buildings under construction st at the present time should be completed the buildings which consist of two dormitories which will house louse eighty inmates each a laundry room a bollor building and a building which tor for the present will serve as an administration building will comprise the first unit of the school there yet remain according to the plans twenty six buildings of similar size to be built before the five units are complete however this will be done only as appropriations from the state will allow probably some each year dr 0 S richards in commenting on the work done so far said that everything was waa going forward most satisfactorily F t and according to present indications the first unit will be ready by july 1st ast about a month will bo be required require d to furnish and equip the bullings so 0 that by august sh the buildings should r be ready tor for inmates dr 0 P may of now new orleans has been 0 offered the position of at superintendent perin ende at of the school but has not returned a favorable answer dr may has had considerable training and experience which the committee felt would malke malce him well suited tor for the position american fork citizen |
