W N. N Williams Being a regent of the institution the senator availed himself of the opportunity to give fatherly fatherly fatherly fath fath- erly advice to both professors and students He said he was a believer in higher education and was convinced that it made far better citizenship citizenship citizenship citizen citizen- ship and that he had no sympathy with certain capitalists in America who were themselves themselves them them- selves in opposition to hi higher her education Senator Williams almost became personal when he directed directed directed di di- his advice to the professors behind him him He suggested that they cut their hair when it needed it and Dr Bolin looked so embarrassed yet so submissive that the audience roared with laughter The senator further urged the faculty to be neat in their dress and to black their shoes and thus to set a good example to the students The faculty should also mold their pupils into good moral characters because morality stand stands for more than mere book The choir and orchestra rendered effective musical musical musical mu mu- mu- mu numbers |
