Show FOREST SERVICE TAKES OVER DIKE WORK AT NAVAJO the navajo lake dike project which was started by the cedar city chamber of commerce and which la is about 70 per cent completed has abeen taken over by the dixie forest service as a national forest project the forest service took charge of the project monday morning and work Is going on uninterrupted by the change with the assurance that it will be completed comple tod this tall fall the project includes the raising of the tha old like dike an all six feet all and d rip rapping it on bobil both sides aides the dike has been constructed ted to conserve the water in tile the lake and thus protect the fish front from low water levels which will make mahe the lake a fishing resort equal to tiny any lit in the country |
