Booth has been selected to play in MacDon-aid's MacDon-aid's Ail-American High School Band which will ap. pear in both Macy's Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day Parade in New York City and the annual Tournament of Roses Parade at Pasadena, California. Ray is a senior at Borah High School in Boise, Idaho and he plays trumpet in Borah's Bor-ah's Pep, Marching, Stage, and Concert Bands, and the Symphony Orchestra. Paul Laualle, director of Radio Ra-dio City Music Hall of New York City selected Ray. One hundred top musicians from 50 states are selected each year. Ray is the son of Roscoe G. and Afton Jeanne (Gurr) Booth, of Boise, Idaho, formerly form-erly of Cedar City, and Paro wan respectively. |
