Is such a college considered an institution oi higner learning for which a li-S deferment may be authorized? Ans.: A junior college is considered an institution of higner learning, if a student is taking a full-time course of study and the credits are acceptable ac-ceptable by an institution granting a baccalaureate degree, de-gree, the stuuent is ehgible for classification in Class 11-S. If the student is taking only a vocational or two-year terminal term-inal course, his classification would be Ii-A if a dcierment was granted. Q.: Snce taking my prein-duction prein-duction physical I have lost the vis.on in one eye. What should I do? Ans.: Obtain a statement from your doctor setting forth his clinical findings in this regard and present this statement state-ment to your local board as soon as possible. The board will normally then send this information with your examin-1 ation records to the Armed Forces Examining and Entrance En-trance Station where you had your examination for evaluation evalua-tion by the physicians at that activity. |
