Show Colt League Ends Season This Week The final week of action in the Cedar City Colt' league finds the clubs in a near deadlock for season honors. Tuesday evening three of the teams were all tied up over the total season records for first place honors and the fourth team was just one game behind. I Games Friday and Saturday will be the final action and the three teams on top will enter the hnsehall tournament starting on Monday. The fourth will be integrated in-tegrated into the other three. It could well finish in a four-way tie. In second half action stand-' winning run on passed balls, j Iron County Record hung onto second place with a win and a loss. The win came at the hands of Arctic Circle Friday night by a score of 10 to 5. David Meyers was the winning pitcher, allowing allow-ing only four hits. Record belted out ten hits, five oft starter Wade Roberts and five off reliefer, relief-er, David Jenson.. Lockhart came up with its first victory of the second half Tuesday Tues-day night with a 7 to 1 victory over the Record. Robert Smith was the winning pitcher, allowing allow-ing just two hits, both singles. Lockhart put their eggs in one basket, collecting four of their six hits in the second frame and scoring five runs to take the lead and hold it.
