Annual Big Game Ride Dates Announced The annual rides to survey and inventory Utah's big game wintering ranges will soon get underway. The department of fish and game reminded that individuals or groups are again welcomed and encouraged to take part In this field program during which data is gathereded and later weighed by the Board of Big GaW Control in setting the fall hunting seasons. Conditions will be assessed on each of the state's 62 deer wintering win-tering ranges. Majority of the work is accomplished by horseback. horse-back. Earliest of the surveys begin in late February and continue during the early weeks of spring. Game managers urge all who are interested to contact their local conservation officer or deportment deport-ment of fish and game office in the near future.
