Show Tri-H Club Heads Parowan March of Dimes I With the 1962 March of Dimes well under way in the county and state, the drive In also well under way In Parowan with the activities being directed by the Trl-H Club and Mrs. Doris Benson Ben-son acting as chairman of all phases of the drive, assisted by club members. To begin, the drive the sponsor- ing club on the 21-hour Telera-ma Telera-ma program of Sunday, Jan. 14, made a contribution of $25.00 on its own and challenged like clubs over the state to do the same. Mrs. Benson states that the club is working through the local lo-cal high and elementary students ' with pledge cards and envelopes .being furnished to each student. They will be gathered up during the next few days. Also coin collectors col-lectors have been placed in the city's business houses. The final phase of the drive will be conducted by the Marching Mothers during the next week. The city has been divided di-vided into districts and teams have been selected to make the visits with the entire community to be canvassed as a climax to I the campaign for funds. |
