U is falling falling falling fall fall- ing into line with the REALLY EALLY TRULY colleges Some time ago the girls gills came out in lovely crimson and silver head pieces and and wore them at a foot-ball foot game spite of some crusty curmudgeons who were ungallant ungallant ungallant un- un gallant enough to make remarks about them I mean the caps Last year the faculty lined up right out outdoors outdoors doors in iq front of the theatre where everybody everybody every every- body could see and marched boldly up the the front steps and through the auditorium auditorium auditorium to their place on the stage And now the seniors seniors brave boys and girls girls are are going to wear both caps and gowns right out in Oh the brave show they will make And to think that the class has a valedictorian valedictorian valedictorian torian courageous enough to face facea a Salt Lake audience thus arrayed and not playing playing playing play play- ing a part Now let the faculty follow suit Just imagine Stewart and Roylance Talmage and Lyman and the other big and little and thick and thin ones arrayed in square caps and flowing robes lobes paired off to ad advantage advantage ad- ad vantage e on the pavement on First South street and taking up their dignified march up up the front steps w while ile the band played Hark hark F Oh what a lark The profs are coming to t town town The he short tall tali L.
