G Dresser first became conscious of his surroundings in Canada Soon after this shocking event his parents moved to Elgin Illinois and then to Rock Springs Wyoming He attended school at Rock for one year and th then n spent a year traveling and studying in I California Califor Califor- nia nia In 1890 his parents moved to Salt Lake Lake City where he entered the Oquirrh Oquirrh school Ee was s graduated graduated grad grad- from the Oquirrh in iri June 1897 7 and in th the fall he entered the preparatory department of Mining Engine Engineering ring in the University ity of Utah The fact that the lusty freshmen college class of f 1904 made 1904 made Clarence Clarenc their is president proof positive of his popularity and of he capacity lungs I.
