Show Miss Ann Sherratt Chosen to Rule as Guardsmen's Queen ' -" ni " - i ANN SHERRATT i i I , - v u v :a. ! , ft ' J -' CERALDINE RASMUSSEN Lovely Miss Ann Sherratt, daughter of Mrs. Burns K. Sherratt, Sher-ratt, and a senior student at the Cedar City High School, was named Miss 213th of 1959 at the queen selection contest staged at College of Southern Utah ball-loom ball-loom Wednesday evening. Named as first attendant to Miss Sherratt was Miss Gerald-Ine Gerald-Ine Rasmussen and second attendant at-tendant Is Miss Doris Okerlund, both students at the College of Southern Utah. The contest was staged by Headquarters Battery of the 213th Field Artillery Battalion, Utah National Guard. Thn rovaltv will rnlrm nvnr fhp Military Ball to be staged at the CSU ballroom Friday evening by the National Guard unit and over "Muster Day" events Saturday as a part of an annual observance observ-ance by guard units throughout the United States. Judging for the event was very close. Selection was based on beauty, poise, posture and talent. As Miss 213th Miss Sherratt will travel to Salt Lake City next week to compete in a statewide state-wide contest for the coveted title ti-tle of Miss Utah National Gaurd. She will appear at the Utah National Na-tional Guard Muster Day dance at the University of Utah Union Building. Monday, Feb. 23. j |
