Show Humorist to Show Dinner Clubbers Life's Sunny Side Judge Harold G. Kessinger, writer, Jurist, humorist, philosopher philoso-pher and public speaker, will be the guest of honor at the meeting meet-ing of the Escalante Knife and Fork Club to be held at Hotel El Escalante Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 7:30 p. m. The Judge is known as an ambassador am-bassador of good will wherever he lectures. He is a friendly man who has labored unceasingly in many fields for the betterment of mankind. Kessinger has administered his court In Ridgewood, N. J. with kindness, justice, tolerance and (firmness. It has been said of Judge Kessinger that he has more friends in the city, county, state and nation than any other man in the United States. His has been a varied career. Besides fulfilling his Judicial duties, du-ties, Judge Kessinger has made outstanding achievements as an editor, publisher, business executive exe-cutive and educator. Judge Kessinger was born in southern Illinois of Scotch, German, Ger-man, French and Irish descent. He was reared a Quaker and was educated for the law at Blackburn Black-burn College, Northwestern University Uni-versity and the University of Chicago. Chi-cago. On July 1, 1947, Kessinger completed com-pleted a successful term as governor gov-ernor of the 182nd district of Rotary Ro-tary International. During the period he officiated in this capacity, ca-pacity, he addressed leading groups from coast to coast. The New York Rotary reported, "Kessinger "Kes-singer is a truly great humorist and philosopher . . . was received with thunderous applause." |
