Show NEWS NOTES FROM SUMMIT By Donna Davenport Funeral services for Mrs. Elva Lunccford Farrow, wife of Lyle B. Farrow, were conducted In Summit last Thursday by Bishop Ivan Dalley, who also gave the opening remarks. Other speakers were Alma Lawrence, Jay Davenport and Harold Smith, and a tribute was read by Mrs. Twila Newberry. Prayer at the home was given by Douglas Farrow. Invocation was by Oscar Hulet, benediction by Delos Dalton and the grave was dedicated by Francis Beten-son. Beten-son. Prelude and postlude music was played by Mrs. Sylvia Stap-ley, Stap-ley, who also accompanied the Singing Mothers, who sang "Tho Deepening Trials," and "Not Now Be in the Coming Years." Pallbearers were Jack, Ray and Douglas Farrow, Boyd Walker, Chester Benson and Jack Berry. Mrs. Twila Newberry and sons Dale and Ray, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Ewell of Springvllle were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Lyle Farrow; also, Mrs. Catherine Roth of Tooele Too-ele and her son Norman and his wife. Members of the William Bradshaw family were here from Minersvllle, Milford and Beaver, and many others from the surrounding sur-rounding communities. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Farrow and family of Idaho Falls. Idaho Ida-ho spent several days here as guests of a sister Mrs. Boyd Walker and family. A missionary testimonial was held at the Ward chapel Sunday in honor of Elder Dennis Dalley, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley, Dal-ley, who enters the Mission home In Salt Lake City Nov. 8 prior to going to Brazil. Mrs. Elna Fox and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Riggs and family of Pangultch were for the testimonial of their nephew. The chapel was filled to overflowing with friends and relatives from here and surrounding communities. communi-ties. Mrs. Susie Dalley of Pangultch -visited here last Thursday withj Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley and family. Mrs. Leona Smith accompanied accompan-ied her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson of Enoch to Tooele Saturday where she will spend a week visiting with her granddaughter, Mrs. Jay Tucker and husband. Elder Robert Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker, just received a call to serve an L. D. S. Mission to the Gulf States. j Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport attended a surprise birthday party par-ty in Cedar City Saturday evening eve-ning honoring their daughter, Mrs. Dannie Condle, at the home of Dannie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loraine Condle. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton and daughter and Miss Francis Farrow, Far-row, spent the week end at the home of their people, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow.
