Show Funeral Services Conducted ior Priscilla Urie Leigh Funeral services were held in the Cedar Stake House Monday afternoon for Mrs. Priscilla Urie Leigh, 82, who died Friday following fol-lowing a brief illness. She had fallen about a week before, fracturing frac-turing her hip. Surgery was required, re-quired, an da few lays later she suffer from a blood clot arid succumbed, June 29. She was born Dec. 10, 1879, In Cedar City, a daughter of John and Priscilla Kllngsmlth Urie, and spent her life here. She married mar-ried Samuel F. Leigh, Sept. 19, 1907, in the St. George Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. She had always been an active member of the church, and served serv-ed in many capacities. Including secretary of the Stake Primary for ten years, and secretary of the Stake YWMIA for six years. She also was Councelor in the Cedar Ce-dar Third Ward Relief Society. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, Cedar City; two daughters, Mrs. George (Helen) Helquist, and Mrs. Herbert (Alice) Heff, both of Los Angeles, Calif.: two sons, John U. Leigh, West Yellowstone, Yel-lowstone, Mont.; Samuel U. Leigh, Cedar City; eight grandchildren, grand-children, one great-grandchild, a brother, Donald Urie, Colorado; three sisters. Mrs. Betsy Want and Mary Urie, both of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Elizabeth Stephen sen. Delta. The services were conducted zy Bishop Jas. Sndberg. Speakers Speak-ers were Walter K. Granger and Parson U. Webster, with remarks by the Bishop. Invocation was by Herbert P. Haight and benediction benedic-tion by Ray Lunt Prayer at the Mortuary was by Scott Urie and the dedication of the grave by William Mendenhall. The musical program included two numbers, "Lead Me Gently Home" and "There's r Beautiful Beauti-ful Land", by a mixec quartet composed of Ray Cosslett, Lois McConnell, Mamie Eck, and William Wil-liam Condie, accompanied by Beth Leigh; a vocal solo, "Oh My Father" by Vaughn Thomas, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Leigh, and a vocal solo, "I'll Forget You" by Herschell Neeley. accompanied by Shirley wan.
