Show Chamber Makes Plans To Host California Travelers Cedar City Chamber of Commerce Com-merce is in the process of making mak-ing preparation for a visit in this area by the Travel Club of Southern California, it was announced an-nounced by Milt Jolley, executive execu-tive secretary, at the meeting of the board this past week. The Travel Club' of California has written to the chamber to assist with accommodations for the organization on a planned winter tour in this area. Efforts,, Jolley reported, are being made with motel, hotel and cf.fe groups. Board members also authorized the continued operation of the tourist information booth on the city park as long as funds would permit. President Bob Hansen and Mr. Jolley were given authority auth-ority to close the booth when financing is no longer available. Mrs. Gwen Deal of the board was appointed at the meeting as the advisor for the annual Freshmen Fresh-men Breakfast, sponsored by the Chamber in a gesture of welcome to students on the campus of the College of Southern Utah. |
