Show Funeral Services Held for Prominent Cattleman Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in Kanab on Jan. 18 for Francis Fran-cis Marion Hamblin, 89, veteran Utah cattleman, who died of a cerebral hemmorhage on Jan. 11. Mr. Hamblin was well known in Cedar City having spent considerable consid-erable time here in past years with his daughter, Mrs. Beth Leigh and Mrs. Alta Johnson. He was born in Eagle Valley. Nev., on June 6, 1866, a son of Francis Marion and Rhoda Elizabeth Eliza-beth Lay Hamblin. He moved to Kanab as a boy with his parents and started early as a cattleman on the Old Swallow Park ranch. He assisted his parents in the establishment es-tablishment of a cheese and butter but-ter industry in Kanab, and later became known as one of southern south-ern Utah's most prominent cattlemen. cat-tlemen. Mr.. Hamblin U survived by six sons and daughters. Mrs. Rose H. Dodson, Hermosa Beach. Calif.; Mrs. Alta H. Johnson and Mrs. Beth H. Leigh, Cedar City; Mrs. Ida H.
