| Show GREAT REAT annoyance has hag been and is caused by the improper use of the seminary by some students who must be called thoughtless if nothing worse This room has been set apart for the use of students who do not care to study in the library for some good reason and who wish to consult books placed here But notwithstanding the fact that its purpose is thoroughly understood by all t and that none think it has been designed designed designed de de- signed as a recreation room there are some students among us who are in the habit of entering this room and disturbing disturbing disturbing disturb- disturb ing others in n their studies Th They y persist persist persist per- per in disregarding the rules few and lenient as they are and in indulging in jn whispering and very often also quite loud talking and laughing As a natural naturals natural's s 's consequence those who have come there for study are prevented from doing so If it were not for the leniency of of f Mr Coray many a one would have found himself disgraced tor for this offence and justly too When students are areas as old as those of th the U University are they are supposed to be able to control themselves themselves themselves them them- selves and their actions with wit with l very few restrictions When however it is found that this is impossible it seems to us s that too seve severe e measures cannot be taken and that these troublesome students ts should be refused the use of the Seminary or any other room until they learn how to use it and how to conduct themselves properly while there In |
