Show Summer Recreation Schedule Announced by Director Lowell Caldwell, recreation director di-rector for Parowan City, announces an-nounces that the summer recreation recrea-tion program has been drawn up and is now well under way with a large number of young peopdle participating in the activities. The schedule under which the program is being carried out at the present time, as announced by Mr. Caldwell, is as follows for each day of the week: MONDAY: Tennis for girls 7:3(1 a. m.; Baseball 7 to 9 year olds. 8:30 a. m.; baseball, 9 to 12 year olds, 4 p. m. and Softball, 8 p. m. TUESDAY: Tennis for boys, 7:30 a. m. Horseback riding, 10 u. m.; bicycle riding, 10 a. m. baseball 13 15 year olds 5:30 p. m.; Scouts outdoor sports, 7'30 p. m. WEDNESDAY: Tennis, girls. 7:30 a. m.; baseball, 7 9 years, 8:30 a. m.; tumbling, boys, 3 p. m.; softball, girls 9 to 14, 8 p. m.; baseball, 9 to 13. 4 p. m. THURSDAY: Swimming, boys, 9 a. ni.; horseback riding, 2 p. m. baseball 13 15 year olds, 5:30 p. m and softball, 16 and over, 8 p. m. FRIDAY: Swimming, girls 9 a. m.; archery, 2 p. m.: baseball 9 13 year olds, 4 p. m.; softball, 11 15 year olds, 8 p. m. SATURDAY: Softball, 16 years and over 8 p. m. Mr. Caldwell also states that he is planning to get several Little League baseball teams going go-ing In the near future, and also softball for the older men and women. |
