'Joroviy Z vn. son, 72, former resident o; Ta.-- wan. who died Monday, May 7 In Cherry Valley, Calif. The funeral fu-neral were conducted by Bishop .Spencer W. Lemmon with Itha mortensen at the organ for prelude pre-lude and postlude music and accompanying ac-companying all musical number! num-ber! Speakers were Joseph E. Ward, W. Clair Rowley with remarks by Bishop Lemmon. The prayer at the home was by Howard Joseph, Jo-seph, the invocation was by David Dav-id Matheson, the benediction by iF. C. Van Buren and the grade was dedicated by John Pendleton. I double mixed quartet, con-cls:ln con-cls:ln cr Mary T-v P-U-n. Voids Vo-ids Adaiiii, 1'. l.i Cton, Ar.aa Lyman, F. C Van Buren, How-'ard How-'ard Knight, Karl Mitchell and j Clair Rowley, sang "Abide. With Me" as the opening song and I "Sometime We'll Understand as i the closing number. A ladies trio consisting of Elna Stubbs, Ramo-na Ramo-na Stubbs and Shirley Evans, sang, "I Walked Today. Where Jesus Walked." Mrs. Benson was born in Parowan, Paro-wan, Aug. 23, 18X9, a daughter of William and Isabelle Stubbs. She attended local schools and was married to Alvin A. Benson April 1, 1905. He died In Monte-bello, Monte-bello, Calif Sept. 13. 1957. and was brought to Parowan for funeral fu-neral service and burial. Surviving are fort sons and one daughter, as follows: Frank, Los Angeles; Owen and William S.; Montebellow; Carl. Lynndyl, Millard Co., and Mrs. Max (May) jMiddleton, Cherry Valley. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 1 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, broth-er, Alma Stubbs, Parowan, and a ! sister. Myrtle Levy, Long Beach. Calif. |
