Mrs. Isa-belle Isa-belle Forsyth Knell. 86, died in Provo. She was the mother of Gordon Knell, and the sister of Cassle Chrlstensen and Effie Bea-cham. Bea-cham. Allison Hart, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Trus-ten Trus-ten Hart, died en route to a Salt Lake City hospital. Both funerals were held last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth and family of Cedar City, stayed in town over the week end at their home here. The newcastle Ward Relief Society So-ciety and their partners held a party last Thursday night In Pinto Pin-to Canyon at the "Deer Camp." A delicious dutch oven chicken supper was served, ending with watermelon. Everyone had a very enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet and their four children traveled to Msquite, Nev., over the week end to visit with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reber of that city, and to attend the wedding reception of Nita Rae's sister. Visitors at the Russell Chris-tensen Chris-tensen home was Katherine's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Elaine Sorensen and her six children from Apache Junction, Junc-tion, Ariz. The Escalante Valley Lions Cub held their ladies' night In the form of a steak supper held last Saturday night at Cedar Breaks. Attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Chrlstensen, Chrlsten-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hu!t, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Reeves and Mr. and Mrs. Mont Sorensen. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet this week were their daughters. Mrs. Minnie Dalley of Summit, Mrs. Leone Rasmussen of Parowan, and Mrs. Maude Strate of Cedar City. Mrs. Geneva Gillies and Mrs. Bonnia Rlggs and children left Monday morning In a hurry for Las Vegas. They received a vague report that Kenneth had been In an accident and was In a Las Vegas hospital. They called call-ed the hospital but could get no definite Information as to his condition.
