Show Plans Move Forwaid On Annual Lions Minstrel Show Additional assignments have been made for staging of the 16th anuualJJons Club Minstrel shbvr.To be presented on Thanksgiving, Thanks-giving, according to Gordon Chrlstensen, general chairman in charge, and all groups are busy with preparations for the big annual an-nual event End men for the minstrel have been appointed and are working work-ing on the production. The group includes Ed Givan, Dan Jones, Dan Crawford, Leo Cahoon, Frank Dalley, Furl Porter, Clint Beasley and Pat Fenton. Dance numbers will be directed direct-ed by Mrs. L. A, .Wbetten and Mrs. Edwin L. Peterson, and the two instructors are busy selecting select-ing members of the club to. perform per-form in this capacity, Mr. Chrlstensen Chrls-tensen states. Among the many musical will be . vocal sols by Howard Wood, Forrest Hunter and Ralph Hafen. Preparation of chorus numbers by the entire club membership mem-bership was started Monday at the regular meeting of the club. Although prices for almost everything has gone up in recent re-cent years there will be no increase in-crease in admission price to the minstrel, Mr. Christensen states. However, since this year's show is to be held in the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college memorial field-house field-house it will be necessary to charge the extra 10c fieldhouse tax. |
