Show CEDAR HIGH SCHOOL NEWS (By Shlrlene- Sherratt) Boys have been seen the past few days hurrying up and down the stairs and through the halls of Cedar high. The cause has been the Girls' Day dance to be held Friday night. The dance Is sponsored by the Girls' organization organiza-tion and Is held annually at the high school. The Girls' Day assembly will also be presented Friday, under the direction of the organization with a "Cowboy and Indians" theme. Beverley Sherratt will act as chairman. Monday the American Problems Prob-lems class, taught by Mrs. Zoe Palmer, conducted a survey on what the students thought of the proposed Universal Military Training program. The general concensus of opinion was that the training should not be given In connection "With, high school attendance,: such 'as .the ROTC, but rather that the students receive re-ceive the training between high school and -college. v - The Athletic banquet at Cedar high, honoring "members. of the football and basketball squads, will be held Saturday evening. Dorothy Rencher is general chair man and the Pep club members will assist. Each member of the club will give a toast to one of jthe players. Emma Lue Naegle will act as master of ceremonies i for the evening. |
