Show Columbia Mines Lead First Hall Softball League The first half schedule of the Cedar City Softball League ended end-ed Tuesday night with the exception ex-ception of ten games that have been postponed because of holiday holi-day dates, storms, or use of the field for special functions. The Columbia Iron Mining team tops the league standing at the present pres-ent time with 10 straight victories, vic-tories, but has one postponed game to make up, a game with the Utah Construction company. The Utah Parks Company team is In second place, with six wins and one loss, but has four postponed post-poned games to be played. The Iron County Record has a record rec-ord of six wins and two losses, with three postponed games to be played. The Cedar Motors, Third Ward and Utah Construction teams each have lost only three games, but Cedar Motors has one more game to play, the Third Ward three and the Utah Construction Con-struction four. Make-up games will be played on the next three Saturday nights, while the second-half schedule is running on Monday through Friday nights.
