Show OUR SCHOOLS ELEMENTARY .. Tuesday, Apnl 20, was Principal Oscar J. Hulefs birthday. 'A delightful de-lightful little party was held Monday Mon-day afternoon in his honor, by the teachers. On Tuesday morning the 6th grade pupils In his room surprised sur-prised him with another party. Vo-ris Buhanan has been busy taking pictures of the different grades. Perhaps you have seen one group or another on the west side of the high 6chool building. Lfst Friday the three upper grades saw "Robin Hood" at the local theatre. Hiey also enjoyed the high school dance review. The people in the three upper grades have already received shows, etc., which would have cost each child $135 for the 60c "entertainment fee" they paid at the first of the year. Every day this week the students i i - . . m j , , . , , , , ,j of the Elementary school are spending spend-ing a few valuable minutes over at the Art Exhibit. Some of the pictures pic-tures are already definitely the favorites fav-orites of many of the children. On Thursday afternoon, Dean ! Marba Jacobscn of the school of Education at the U 8 A C at Logan visited our school. JUNIOR HIGII Junior H gh School kits Art Exhibit ! On Tuesday afternoon, April 20, each grade of the Junior high school spent one hour In the Art Exhibit rooms. A correlation of this study trip is then carried into all classes. It is a great privilege for our pupils pu-pils to be able to have such an opportunity op-portunity to view the work of great artists. With the enthusiasm of such people as Mrs. Schmutz, Mrs. Frame, Mrs. Prestwlch and Mrs. Larson, a great deal of interest was aroused in each pupil. It was truly a pleasing experience for each one participating. Xf $ HIGH SCHOOL A common sight in the halls last week were girls going into the gym with newly pressed costumes over their arms. Thursday night, April 15, most of us were able to see and enjoy these costumes and many orl-glnal orl-glnal dances, when the Codar high M-hool presented Its annual Dance Review, directed by Mrs. Zetta Peterson. Pet-erson. Every girl enrolled In a Physical Phy-sical Education class participated In this review, and they danced everything every-thing from a Congo to a waltz. Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon the dance review was held for the Elementary stu-i dents, and Wednesday night for the Junior high. Large crowds were in attendance for each performance. I This week the sound of musical! instruments has been affording all of us in the vicinity of Mr. A. B. Larson's Band and orchestra room much enjoyment. "Instrumental Night" held last evening was a great success. i Mr. Edward Sandgren's vocal students stu-dents from the high school and the lunlor high are in the process of preparing a concert to be presented ; In the near future. In the athletic department, base-' ball and track are being played off.
