Show B. A. C. To Present Jubilee Pageant Rehearsals were underway this week for the Pageant of Fifty years of BAC, the history of Southern Utah's college to the people of this area. Large scale flats are In process of being erected under the direction of Professor C. .B. Cooley, and the two main scenes will be life sized replicas of the old "Co-op" and the "Ward House" that served as temporary tem-porary quarters for the BAC In 1847. Every member of the BAC faculty and student body has been cast to play a part in College Cavalcade and the initial cast has been swelled to near 400 with the volunteer services of civic minded citizens from Cedar City and surrounding areas. Professor Twain Tippetts began full rehearsals Monday and Tuesday Tues-day and started to get together the pieces of the largest pageant In this area since the Zion pageant. The cavalcade Is being staged in the Bronco Bowl on the BAC's campus cam-pus and the college administration Is extending an invitation to nil alumni and friends of BAC to be present for the production at 8:00 p. m. Wednesday and Thursday, May 21 and 22. |
