Show Cedar City Couple Exchanges Vows In St. George Temple Mildred Sargent, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David L. Sargent, and Thomas B. Cardon, son of Mrs. Florence Cardon. all of Cedar Ce-dar City, exchanged marriage vows Saturday morning in a ceremony cere-mony which was solemnized by Pres. Harold S. Snow in the St. George Temple. Following the ceremony, a reception re-ception was held in the evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sargent, which included many out-of-town guests. Attending the bride as matron of honor was a sister, Mrs. LaRee La-Ree Schmutz, while bridesmaids were Miss Carolyn Dalley, Pon-tiac, Pon-tiac, Mich., cousin of the bride, and Miss Suzanne Cardon, Cedar City, sister of the groom. Best man was Clair Morris, Parowan. Following the reception, the newlyweds left on a wedding trip after which they will make their home in Cedar City. Both the bride and groom graduated recently from the Branch Agricultural Agri-cultural college and the groom will continue his studies there in the fall. The bride was secretary of the student body while at the BAC, and was active in school affairs. The groom was a member of the football team, active in school affairs, and is a member of the Air ROTC unit at the school. |
