Show 4-H Club News HAPPY WORKERS The Happy Workers 4-H club of Enoch met at the home of Janice Jones for the club breakfast, break-fast, Thursday, July 22. The girls have finished their cooking requirements re-quirements and are making plans to attend the club camp at Duck Creek In the near future. Following the breakfast, Elna Miller, State nutrition specialist, lectured to the club on demonstration, demon-stration, canning and scrap books. The leaders and a group of girls from the Chums club Joined with the unit during the discussion. $ a 8 CHUMS AND HAPPY WORKERS The Chums and Happy Workers Work-ers 4-H clubs of Enoch met at the home of Helen C. Jones for a farewell social In honor of Bernice Llnford, club leader, before be-fore she left Iron county. Mrs Llnford has been helping the units to complete their cooking and sewing requirements, and has assisted them in preparing for the club camp and the county coun-ty fair. The group is looking forward for-ward to her return next fall. V $ SEWING SALLYS The Sewing Sally's 4-H club held Its 7th meeting last Tuesday Tues-day at the home of Miss Bonnie Jones. Miss Francis Cane, who will chaperone the group during the annual 4-H outing at Duck Creek, August 5 through 7, was present at the meeting to help club members plan their trip. Displaying of many dresses that have been made by club members preceded refreshments served by the hostess. & KOZY COOKS Oganized June 22, at the home of club leader, Mrs. Lillian Haz-, el, the Kozy Kookers 4-H club elected Bonnie Bell Piatt, presi-, dent; Annette Heywood, vice president; ReNee Gentry, secretary; secre-tary; Colleen Hunter, reporter; Juanlta Hazel, song leader, and Yvonne Skillman, organist. Other Oth-er members are Jeanene Gower and Valene Adams. The club Is studying second year cooking. |
