Show HaighttoHeadBAC International Relations Club Barry Halght of Cedar City was elected president of the International In-ternational Relations club at the Branch Agricultural college last week. Named to serve with Haight was Henry Anderson of Long Island, New York, vice president, and Joanna Palmer of Cedar City, as secretary. Prof. Edwin L. Peterson, head of the Social Science department of the college, is advisor to the club. The BAC International Relations Rela-tions club is affiliated with the National organization, which operates op-erates under a grant from the Carnegie Endowment for International Inter-national Peace. The new officers have outlined outlin-ed a comprehensive program for the year's activities, including a census of detailed studies and reports on world trouble areas, and the part to be played by the United States and United Nations Na-tions in formulating a program of world peace. The officers of the local group will participate in the national International Relations club meeting to be held at Fort Collins, Col-lins, Colorado, on November 12 and 13. |
