L D. D S S. College followed by a short synopsis of the II Doctrine of positive and negative members by Miss Dora Bauman R. R V. H MOFFAT the president-elect president of the Zeta Gamma delivered a splendid splendid splendid did address before that Society last Thursday night He not only spoke of the good results of society work but also showed what success success success' in life de de depends on setting forth a number of excellent excellent excellent ex ex- original ideas Mr Van Cott followed in a description of South America with map The gentleman first described the continent as a whole and during his remarks gave a fine account of the Andes Mountains and the Amazon River Each country was afterwards taken up and the people chief products and principal industries described The subject was commendably handled THE Delta Phi Society has elected new officers to serve during the present term Mr Theo is president L. L E. E Young vice-president vice and Frank E. E Eliason secretary and treasurer At Atthe Atthe Atthe the last meeting Mr T. T M. M Driggs the former president addressed the society briefly reviewing its history and showing the admirable work done in the past Speeches were also made by Smith and Soule outgoing officers Mr followed in an excellent address outlining his policy in regard to the governing of the society during his term of office and exhorting the boys to give him their free and hearty support The meeting afterwards adjourned amidst a round of cheers |
