Show To Open Bids for New Highway Between 91 and 89 A long-awaited road improvement improve-ment project to develop a standard, stand-ard, all-year highway, connecting connect-ing link between Highway 91 In Iron county and Highway 89 In Garfield county, will be realized this year. Bids for construction of the new highway will be opened op-ened at the state Capitol in Salt Lake City on May 27 and work should get underway early In the summer. The road to be known as state highway No. 20, is what is designated des-ignated as the "Bone Hollow" route, connecting with highway 91 at the North end of Buckhorn Flat or at "Muley Point", and connecting with highway 89 at Orton, a few miles north of Panguitch. Pan-guitch. The project calls for the con-struction con-struction of about 13 miles of gravel surfaced road. The principal princi-pal items of work include 250,-000 250,-000 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, and 65,000 tons of crushed rock or gravel . surface course.
