' The plan to use partially disabled men was instituted some months ago by the War Department after pleas were heard from combat disabled dis-abled veterans that there were many ma-ny types of Jobs they could perform efficiently In the Army. Under the plan over 100 specialties were opened open-ed up to these veterans. "The response by disabled veterans veter-ans since the Institution of this plan has proved the fact that many disabled dis-abled veterans desire to return to the Army. The Regular Army is continuing the program because those already accepted are proving to be good soldiers.' While government pensions are suspended during the period of the enlistment, applications for re-ln-statement may be made immediately after the disabled veteran is discharged. |
