Show Colorful Christmas Ball Is Set For Branch College One of the most colorful events of the Winter quarter at the B. A. C. will be the Christmas Ball which is scheduled for Monday, December 19, according to Boz Osborne, Committee chairman. The Phi Sigma Xi fraternity and the XI Lambda Tau sorority are joining efforts in sponsoring this semi-formal ball. They sponsor spon-sor this dance annually and have made it one of the big dances at the BAC. The gym will be decorated appropriately ap-propriately to fit the holiday season and the theme of "Merry Christmas Waltz". The decorating decorat-ing committee making preparations prepara-tions to give the gym a new look are: Bob Osborne, Garth Bakes, Beaver; Helen Watson, Delta, and Marian Dalton, Par-owan. Par-owan. and Mildred Sargent, Cedar Ce-dar City. A floor show is being prepared prepar-ed that will feature waltzing, which will also be centered around the theme "Merry Christmas Christ-mas Waltz". Students arranging the intermission activities are: Eleanor Sargent, Cedar City; Ann Okerlund, Loa; Margene Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Fillmore, and Rondo Christensen and Joe Barney, Delta. Other committee members are: Tom Brown and Dona Brown, Cedar City, refreshments; Donald Rosenberg. Cedar City; Don Beut-ler, Beut-ler, Richfield; Joyce Terry, Delta; and Elwood Bladen, Cedar City, advertising. Faculty advisors of these two organizations who will be honored hon-ored at the Ball are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schmutz, and Floris S. Olson. A special waltz will hon-jor hon-jor the sponsors of the Ball and i their advisors during intermis-jsion intermis-jsion after the floor show. |
