Last Rites Held In Veyo for lohn Chadburn, 69 Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Saturday in Veyo for John Lewis Chadburn. 69, father of Mrs. Verda Gardner of Cedar City. Mr. Chadburn died earlier in the week of a heart ailment. Born Oct. 17, 1880, he was a son of Henry and Mary Lloyd Chadburn. He married Angeline Hunt in the St. George temple in April, 1900. She died a few years later and on April 9, 1910, he married Mabel Knell. She died March 17, 1926. Surviving are a son and five daughters, Mrs. Verda Gardner, Cedar City; Marvin Chadburn, Mrs. Alta Prims and Mrs. Maur-ine Maur-ine Blake, St. George; Mrs. Helen Bowler, Veyo; Mrs. Mary Freh-ncr, Freh-ncr, Alamo, Nev., and Mrs. Alice Wallace, McNeil, Miss. Also surviving are seven brothers bro-thers and one sister, Robert Chadburn, Logandale, Nev.; Fred, Benjamin K. and June Chadburn, American Fork; James W. Chad-burn, Chad-burn, St. George, and Mrs. Izzie Woods, Barclay, Nev.; George Chadburn, Salt Lake City and Archie Chadburn, American Fork.
