Show Wedded At Candle Light Ceremony At beautiful candle light services Lt the chapel of the Cedar City L. D. S. Institute Saturday, November, 25th. Miss Lola Mae Lunt and Joe Fisher Roop, Lieutenant United States Army Air Corps, were married mar-ried with Bishop Scott Day, uncle of the bride officiating. The wedding toole place on the twenty-fifth anniversary an-niversary of the groom's parents. The bride wes presented in marriage mar-riage by her father, Wilson N. Lunt. She was attended by her .sitter. Mrs. I E'lvln Wayment as Matron of Honor, with Mrs. Harold Olpln, Cedar City; Mrs. William Shaw, Salt Lake City; Miss Edith Adams. Logan, n.s Bridesmaids, and little Miss Joanne Lunt, flower girl. The groom was attended by Lieutenant Lieu-tenant William Shaw of Salt Lake City. Lieutenant Roop and Shaw trained together, and left for overseas over-seas duty and completed fifty missions mis-sions in the Central Pacific war zone, as B-25 pilots. I The bilde wore a beautiful Marquisette Mar-quisette gown with square neckline, and seed pearls, a knee length veil with Venice Lace cap. Flowers were an old fashioned Nosegay with white Orchids, encircled with baby white Crysfinthemums. The Bridesmaid, Brides-maid, Matron and Flower Girl wore matching Rose Buds and white Chrysanthemums. The bride's mother wore a Jade and black dress with Orchid corsage. Lt. Roop Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Roop of Paint Lick, Kentucky. He attended Eastern State Teachers Teach-ers College in Kentucky, before entering en-tering military service. During fourteen months oversets duty Lt. Roop was awarded the distinguished Flying Cross with four Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Air Medal with' two Oak Leaf Clusters. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson N. Lunt. is a graduate of the L. D S. Business College In' Salt Lake City, and was a stu-l dent at the University of Utah until ' her niirriage. I Following the wedding a reception was held at the Escalante Hotel,1 where the bridal party stood before1 the huge fireplace, which was1 banked with ferns and flowers.1 Assisting at the reception were Mrs. Don Draper. Mrs. Stanley Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, Mrs. Lannel Lunt, Mrs. Wil-llt.m Wil-llt.m Snow, pouring, with Mrs. Charles R. Hunter. Mrs. Durham Morris, assisting. Serving were the Misses Jane Urle. Onda Miller, Chloris Bowman and Dawn Ann Seaman. Miss Virginia Bensley was charge of the guest book and Mrs. Elton Stapley and Mrs. Scoot Day in charge of the Gift Room. Two hundred guests called during the evening. I At the close of the reception the' couple left for a honeymoon trip through Nevada and Southern California. Cal-ifornia. The bride was honored at a delightful de-lightful Trouseau Tea by her mother on Monday, November 20th., with! close friends and neighbors calling during th afternoon.
