Show Marriage Announced. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Macfarlane announce the marriage of their daughter, Jean, to Adrian Smiting, Smit-ing, the ceremony having been performed per-formed by Bishop H. P. Ootsou on Sunday, June 9th, at the horns of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Haiversen. The couple left immediately following fol-lowing the ceremony on a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Northern Utah after af-ter which they will make their home in Cedar City. The b;lde served with th'j WAVK3 for a yeiir and a hali, having been released from duty in Man.ii. Before entering service .she had been employed at Sun Valley, Idaho and at the Vega Aircraft Air-craft plant in California. She is a graduate cf the Cedar City high school and of the Branch Agricultural Agricul-tural College, wheie she was affiliated affil-iated with the Phi Alpha Beta sorority. Mr. Bunting, a son of Mrs. Zlna Bunting, is a veteran of nearly five years military service, having entered service with the St. George Bittery of the Utah National Guard in March, 1941. He spent eighteen months in, Alaska, and was then transferred to Europe where he remained until the end of he war. He served with the Army Engineers. Before entering military ervlce he graduated from Dixie College where he was prominent in Uhletlcs. |
