Show A RARE TREAT IN APRIL One of the best musical programs that has lias been heard on the campus this year was given Friday April 2 in the Normal School Music l room und r the direction of Miss Edna Evans supervisor of th the music in the Training School The program was planned by the eighth grade and consisted of the the lives of four great musicians and a brief sketch of their work Miss Irene Kelly gave Der Nussbaum Schubert charmingly and was vas followed by Miss l Edith Grant in Schubert's exquisite song Who Tho is Sylvia Mr i Sutherlands Sutherland's rendition of The Two Grenadiers was pleasing and The Wanderer Schubert as sung by i Miss iss Hazel Barnes thrilled the audience with delight Other splendid numbers of the program were Lifes Lesson Schumann Schumann Schumann mann rendered by the pupils under tinder the direction of Miss hiss l Marron larron arron Impromptu Schubert played by Miss Kelly Hark Schubert sung as a duet I-I I lark Hark ark the Lark by the Misses Barnes and Grant Allegro in in F Mozart l by Miss Thomas and the Beethoven Sonata played by Miss Evans E ans Ugh It makes me shudder I.
