| Show COLORADO COLLEGE DEBATE IN MAY Preliminary Trials March 18 Should Bring Out Many Strong Strong Team Needed T l March arch 18 is the date elate set for the preliminary preliminary preliminary nary trials for the debating team to meet Colorado College here in May flay The question question question ques ques- tion is Resolved That the tariff should be imposed for revenue only At the first trials each speaker will be allowed eight minutes to argue any phase of the question he lie chooses From this will be chosen two teams of three men and an alternate eight men in all These will then hold a formal debate on the question and from this the V Varsity arsi ty team will be chosen The men who went to Boulder will not be allowed to try for this team provided there are at least twelve entries in the tile trials Now is the time to begin work on the question Those wishing to enter sho should ld b give their names to Mr 1 Roberts or Manager Manager Man Man- ager Hartley I as soon as possible |
