Show Sportsmen's Outing Draws Rig Crowd The Cedar City Wildlife Fed r-ation r-ation Outing at the B.A.C. campus cam-pus Sunday afternoon, w.th a good turnout of the membership participating par-ticipating in the games and con-t con-t sUs of the afternoon. The afternoon's after-noon's program Including a series of volley ball games, Softball, horseshoe horse-shoe pitching fly and bait casting, and a softball game. Prizes were awarded all winners, ranging from coca cola for the ball team wln-n wln-n rs, to fly cases, leaders and flies, for the casting events and War Stamps for the horseshoe pitchers. Verne Frame and Ray Knell won andthe horseshoe pitching cont st coca cola for the tall team win-Homer win-Homer Jones, and with Iron Arm Don Draper ni the box, woo tht "Old Man's" softball game. Homer Jones won the bait casting cast-ing for accuracy contest, with a score of 15 points out of a jxissible 45. Arnold Anderson was second And rson walbed off with the honors In the bait casting for distance dis-tance wdth a record of 123 feet 5 inches. Jones won second place In this event. A. B. Larson made the best score on flying casting for accuracy with 35 out of a possibb 45 points, wdth Johnny Warren tied for second place, both Warren and Larson are clu officers and therfore passed the prizes on to Paul Stewart and H. D. Duncan, who were runners up. Tli ehonors In th? fly casting cast-ing for distance contest went to Hugh Cheever with a 63 feet 10 Inch cast. Second prize was won by Paul Stewart, but was passed on to th next highest Verne Frame.
